📖 The Magic Library Card

Lucy had just moved to a new town and felt quite lonely. On Saturday morning, her mum took her to the local library to get a library card. The librarian, Mrs. Chen, smiled warmly and handed Lucy a shimmering purple card.

"This is a very special card," Mrs. Chen whispered with a wink. "It will help you find exactly what you're looking for."

Lucy wandered through the tall bookshelves, feeling a bit lost. Suddenly, her library card began to glow! It pulled her towards the children's section, where she discovered a book about a girl who loved astronomy, just like Lucy did.

As she read, another child sat down beside her. "I love space books too!" said the boy. "I'm Sam."

"I'm Lucy," she replied, smiling for the first time all week.

They spent the whole afternoon reading together and sharing facts about planets. When it was time to leave, Sam asked, "Would you like to come to the library again next Saturday?"

Lucy looked at her magic library card and grinned. It had helped her find exactly what she was looking for – not just a good book, but a new friend too.
