🎨 Part 1: Draw & Say

1. Draw something you like (a pet, toy or place). Use colour and include one small detail.

2. Say a sentence about your drawing to a partner. Start with "I like..." Say it three times.

3. Tell your partner one thing about your drawing (Where is it? What colour? How big?).

4. Say a simple sentence about your drawing, then write it here. Use a capital letter and a full stop.

5. Add one describing word (a colour, size or feeling). Rewrite the sentence with the new word.

6. Make your sentence more interesting by adding one more describing word. Write your best sentence below.

7. Check your sentence: Does it start with a capital and end with a full stop? If you need to, fix it here.

8. Read your best sentence to a partner. Let them tick the boxes that are true.
