About this printable

This A4 printable contains numbered, illustrated scenario cards that describe a landform and prompt students to name the landform and explain its formation (two short response lines per card). It is designed as a quick formative activity or practice sheet to reinforce vocabulary and cause–effect thinking about processes such as erosion, volcanism and glaciation. The language is short but includes geological terms (e.g. tectonic plates, erosion, volcanic eruption) that may need teacher modelling.
