Day 1: Meet St Joseph the Worker
St Joseph was Jesus's father on Earth He was a carpenter who worked with wood He used tools like hammers and saws He worked hard to care for his family
Day 1 Activity: Joseph's Tools
Look at and touch real or toy tools Hammer, saw, ruler, chisel Draw Joseph working with his tools Share who works hard in your family
Day 2: How Did Joseph Work?
Joseph measured wood carefully He cut wood with a saw He joined pieces with nails and hammer He made useful things for people
Day 2 Activity: Little Carpenters
Role-play being carpenters Use craft sticks to 'build' something Practice measuring and 'hammering' Work carefully like Joseph did
Day 3: Why Did Joseph Work So Hard?
Joseph loved Mary and Jesus very much He worked to provide food and shelter He wanted to keep his family safe Work was his way of showing love and care
