About this illustration
A colourful educational diagram explaining Te Reo Māori sentence structure using TP (Tense-Predicate) order. The top section shows a four-box flow: Tense/Aspect marker → Predicate/Verb → Subject (with te/ngā article) → Object. Two example sentences are given: (1) 'Ka haere ahau ki te kura' (I go to school) and (2) 'He tino pai tēnei' (This is really good). The bottom section introduces A-category possession (inherent) with 'tōku ngākau' (my heart) and O-category possession (acquired) with 'tāku pēke' (my bag).
