The globe displays the Prime Meridian (0° longitude) and Equator (0° latitude) as bold red lines intersecting at the centre. Blue solid lines represent meridians of longitude running north–south, and blue dashed lines represent parallels of latitude running east–west. Key latitude lines labelled include the Arctic Circle (66.5°N), Tropic of Cancer (23.5°N), Equator (0° latitude), Tropic of Capricorn (23.5°S), and Antarctic Circle (66.5°S). The International Date Line (180° longitude) is shown as a purple dashed line on the right side of the globe. Longitude values from 150°W to 180° are marked along the Equator.
